Centrefold shocker for the sexy star shaping up to stun Britain

British TV fans are bracing themselves for some peak viewing of sexy American soap star Sherilyn Fenn.

Sherilyn, star of the cult US show Twin Peaks which starts on BBC2 on Tuesday, has shocked fans by revealing all in Playboy magazine.

She was paid more than $50,000 for putting her own twin peaks on view in the centrefold.

"I´ve been blessed with a beautiful body, says Sherilyn. "I don´t see why I shouldn´t show it off. Nudity is nothing to be ashamed of and sex - well, it´s a heck of a lot of fun and one of the facts of life!"

Twin Peaks - a surrealistic soap-cum-who-dunnit - is a smash hit in the US gaining 14 Emmy nominations and a 50 million audience. Sherilyn plays precocious teenage troublemaker Audrey Horne.

Hollywood director David Lynch - whp made Wild at Heart and The Elephant Man - is the creative force behind Twin Peaks.

He says he chose Sherilyn for the role because "she´s five feet of heaven in a ponytail."

In one sexy scene, she pops a maraschino cherry stem in her mouth and puts it back on her napkin ... tied in a knot!

In the show, this win her a job in a brothel. But 25-year-old Sherilyn reckons her tongue-twister wasn´t make-believe.

"That wasn´t camera trickery," she says, "I can do that! All the girls in my school could."

Sherilyn is now currently working on a new movie, Hit Man, with the star of Driving Miss Daisy, Morgan Freeman.

Playboy boss Hugh Hefner has no doubts about Sherilyn´s charms. "She´s Fenntastic," he says. "A Nineties Ava Gardner."

We´ll have to wait and see ... until Tuesday.
